After seeing this I was like "screw Duchamp, THIS is art." \o/

Lastly...
I started on an illustration. yayyy~ Well it started off as a doodle but I decided to work on it seriously.
I hope I won't get sick of it.

So this is how my day went:
- I only slept for 2 hrs because I had to work on my project that was due today
- The class was canceled so I rushed to finish for nothing.
- If I knew the class was canceled a day before, I could've went to a museum for my art history class cause someone was offering free ride.
- I went to an art store to get by 48x48 canvas. The canvas couldn't fit in my sis's car cause it was too big.
- My sis called my dad (cause he has a bigger car) but he took the wrong freeway. So we had to wait 30min+ :'<

Sakurai Takahiro is voicing Edward in the Japanese ver. Twilight. It's... weird? I guess I find it awkward now cause I'm hearing Edward in a different voice. I'm not too fond of Bella's voice though.



And I just found out that there is Darker Than Black Season 2 O_O. Must. Watch.

Currently procrastinating.

I started on my painting project and it's my first time using oil paints. I was first afraid of using oil cause of what all of my friends told me but it's not bad after all. I actually like it better than acrylic \o/

I was out most of the day yesterday to do my photography homework. I went to a mall and took pics~ and had chocolate fruit stick from Godiva. It tasted better than I imagined. lol.

The weather got cool all of the sudden. I'm starting to wake up with a sore throat everyday :'[

I want to do something for Halloween but not like dressing up and trick or treating. I thought of watching Saw 6 but it's not something I would  spend $11 to see unless this is the last of the series. But according to wiki, there will be a 7th one set to be released in October 2010. I hope it won't drag on like the Final Fantasy series...

My computer obviously hates DA :'<

- Everything in the gallery page is shifted to the right
- I can't view my message box
- I can't look at people's gallery (I could only see the deviations on their front pages)
- and I can't full view unless I download

Need to go shopping this weekend... I need:
- A bag that can hold all of my art supplies. I suffered on Wednesday when I had to carry my painting tools and equipments for my photography class. x_X I don't like my hands being full.
- Tape and palette
- A rubber band for my drawing board.. it snapped T_T

School started. Tired already.

But I'm looking forward to "various Johnny Depp" pchat this week :'DDD

Hmmm I told my grandmother that I didn't want a kimono for my seijinshiki cause it's hard to take care afterward and it's damn expensive in the first place. After seeing a few, I kind of want it now :'s

I don't hate colorful kimono but I prefer the simple ones. Like in this image I stole from wiki. Too bad this design is only for married women, hence the short sleeves and the color. My mother laughed when I told her I like this kimono. haha. Another unfortunately thing, I look bad in kimono cause my shoulders are not stanted and I have a short neck T^T



I think kimono looks prettier when it's not worn. hahaha. Yes I know it's weird.

First day of school.. and I'm already tired. T^T I want to sleep but I feel like it's a waste of time.

I'm looking forward to all of the classes except history of European painting 1907~1940. 3 months of Dada and Duchamp was hell and this class is going to be the same. 

I heard the UCI art department is trying to get rid of drawing classes.. That makes me really sad.
The school also offers web design/graphic design class in the extension but the total cost of the courses are $3K+ wthhhh....

My int. drawing teacher likes my name...lol. She said it's fun to say.

Things I did today:
- Started on a char sheet. Wow I haven't drawn properly for a while. I just brainstormed in my head and never drew it.
- Watched Maou. The main dude annoys me.
- Played Fatal Frame. Although I went pretty far, I didn't save cause I missed a lot of stuff and wasted too much of my weakest film.
- Played FFX2 next. Ahhhh~~ Yunaaaa what have you done to yourself. ~_~ X2 makes me a bit sad because things have changed so much. It doesn't have that sacred feel as it did in FFX. And the inconsistent graphic bothers me.
- Washed a dog. :'D
- Checked my schedule. Decided to add another class (intro to photography) even though I don't need it. I've taken a class with the same teacher and I'm interested in photography.

Yay I'm done with summer school. I felt like the time went by really really slowly, when I was learning about Christian art during the Byzantine era. But, time went by really fast when we began learning about the Gothic Cathedrals and the Renaissance art. I'm a bit sad that the teacher didn't spend much time on Baroque art cause I would've love to learn more about it.

I liked how this teacher was more organized than the teacher I had for intro to western art history. Her exam format was a lot easier for sure. lol~ the previous teacher listed 20 artworks to remember (date, era, material, culture, info) and on the exam she only presented 4. =3= I had a hard time remembering the names of the Roman emperors (there were like 8 inall). arghhh... I'm glad that it's overrrr.

I have about 2 weeks before my school starts. I wish I could go somewhere :'/
